‘Twas the month before Christmas, and all through the town, holiday wishes were granted, good cheer did abound…

For the second year in a row, radio station 94.9 KLTY’s Christmas Wish program, with the help of DFW Massage Envy centers and Chick-fil-A locations in the DFW area, will make hundreds of Christmas wishes come true this holiday season.

Massage Envy therapists will give free chair massages at 21 selected Chick–fil-A locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area Nov. 29-Dec. 24. All donations will benefit radio station 94.9 KLTY’s annual Christmas Wish program. All dates and locations will be posted on DFW Massage Envy’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/massagedfw.

“Massage Envy is proud to join with KLTY and Chick–fil-A in the Christmas Wish project,” ”said Lance O’Pry, Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Developer for Massage Envy. “This holiday partnership captures the spirit of the holidays and shows how much the people of Dallas/Fort Worth really care. It’s a community project that everyone can get behind and feel good about.”

During the Christmas Wish program, KLTY listeners can register to win a year’s Massage Envy membership, and gift certificates for massages will be given away during live KLTY broadcasts at participating Chick-fil-A locations.

In addition, Massage Envy’s “Three for You, Free for Me” campaign offers a free massage with the purchase of three $60 Massage Envy gift cards during the holiday season. Gift cards must be purchased at one of the 27 DFW Massage Envy centers.

Each year, 94.9 KLTY listeners email their Christmas wishes to the station or nominate a Christmas Wish recipient. Listeners can donate to the Christmas Wish Fund for needy D/FW residents and families; and can also personally select and grant a Christmas Wish that touches their heart.

In the month before Christmas, the station selects one letter per day and makes that wish a reality. Now in its ninth year, the Christmas Wish project has raised an estimated $3.1 million through the generosity of listeners and advertisers. The DFW Massage Envy centers and Chick-fil-A are core partners for the program.

Massage Envy is open in 42 states, with 638 centers nationwide and 27 locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

At Massage Envy, an introductory one-hour massage session (a 50-minute massage and time for consultation and dressing) is just $49. Memberships are available for $59 per month and include a one-hour massage session. Members can enjoy unlimited additional one-hour massage sessions at the $39 member rate.

Massage Envy in Texas and throughout the country has helped popularize massage. Americans visit massage therapists approximately 140 million times a year. The percentage of Americans using massage therapists has more than doubled since 1997.
